When you arrive, Dr. Hakobyan will perform an emergency examination and take any necessary X-rays to diagnose the issue quickly and accurately.
Immediate treatment will be provided to relieve your pain and stabilize the situation. This may include temporary or permanent restorations, medication, or other interventions.
Before you leave, Dr. Hakobyan will explain the full treatment plan, discuss follow-up care, and ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable recovery.

What qualifies as a dental emergency?

Is the emergency exam really free for new patients?
Yes. New patients receive a complimentary emergency exam and X-ray. This allows Dr. Hakobyan to diagnose the problem and discuss treatment options with no upfront cost for the initial evaluation. Subject to availability.
What should I do if a tooth gets knocked out?
Handle the tooth by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it if dirty, and try to place it back in the socket. If that's not possible, keep it moist in milk or saliva and get to our office within 30 minutes for the best chance of re-implantation.
Do you offer same-day emergency appointments?
We make every effort to see emergency patients the same day. Call (818) 588-3244 as soon as possible so we can reserve time for you. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 6 PM, with Saturday appointments available by arrangement.
What if my emergency happens after hours?
If you experience a dental emergency outside of our office hours, call our main number and follow the prompts for after-hours guidance. For life-threatening emergencies, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
